RNAO's Tobacco and Nicotine Intervention Initiative is proud to bring you this innovative webinar so you can build your confidence, knowledge and capacity, in implementing tobacco cessation best practices within post-secondary course curriculum.

Objectives
Participants will learn how to: 

  • Describe nurses’ role in tobacco prevention, protection, and cessation 
  • Facilitate the seamless integration of RNAO's Smoking Cessation Best Practice Guideline into nursing and other health sciences education programs 
  • Embed tobacco cessation evaluation components into assessment tools both in the classroom and clinical environments
