Call for abstracts:  9th National Conference on Tobacco or Health

Feb 29 - Mar 2, 2016
Westin Hotel,
Ottawa, ON

The call for abstracts is now open from November 27 until December 17, 2015 at 11h59 ET.
CCTC invites you to submit abstracts offering evidence that will help achieve major advancements in tobacco control in Canada.
The call for abstracts is the principle mechanism for creating the conference program.  We are interested in hearing about successes, challenges and opportunities in tobacco control in Canada.  We are hoping for a breadth of experience in working with evidence to reduce the harm of tobacco products and are aiming for a program that spans many priority populations, settings and communities.
CCTC embraces a broad definition of evidence and encourages abstracts that represent research, interventions, organizational experience and other forms of evidence (including environmental scans, expert and practice-based evidence, political evidence, and community evidence).
We invite researchers, programmers, evaluators, advocates, policy advisors, students, community developers, health professionals... anyone with lessons to share that others can take and apply in their work and/or communities.
