Mental Health Week - May 6-12, 2019

For the 68th straight year, CMHA invites you to #GetLoud for Mental Health Week, May 6-12.

The New Brunswick Anti-Tobacco Coalition (NBATC) knows that positive mental health contributes to healthy lifestyle choices, such as choosing not to smoke nor use tobacco products. So during this Mental Health week, the NBATC will be drawing attention via its Facebook and Twitter accounts on the fact that choosing not to smoke or taking that first step towards quitting smoking is one of the many ways Canadians can work towards improving their mental health.

If you haven’t visited yet, check out mentalhealthweek.ca! They just added some new tools to help you #GetLoud about what mental health really is. (So, what is it? Hint: everyone has it.)

Here’s what you’ll find:

  • A brand-new School Toolkit to help educators bring Mental Health Week into the classroom. It’s complete with a poster, ready-to-go activities, and a quick overview of mental health promotion for children. You’ll find it here.
  • An overview of our new Mental Health Week stickers created to take your Instagram stories to the next level.

You’ll also find a whole lot of other tools and information to help you dig into what mental health really is.

Get ready to #GetLoud starting May 6.
