Many in New Brunswick have been working independently to address the increasing number of youth and young adults that are trying and using vaping products. As this trend continues and more evidence about the harms of vaping for youth becomes available, now is the time for collaborative action.
Everyone has a role to play. We have an opportunity to align our work, coordinate our efforts to use our expertise and resources effectively, avoid duplication and collectively move forward to create a tobacco and smoke-free province for all.
To help achieve these objectives, the New Brunswick Anti-Tobacco Coalition (NBATC) – in partnership with Vitalité Health Network – is leading a Working Group on Youth and Young Adult Vaping. Everyone with an interest in the topic is welcome to join. If you would like to participate, please contact the NBATC.
